Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis: start with a baseline, then measure progress.
HTMA measures selected minerals and toxic elements in a small hair sample. We use the findings as one part of a personalised nutritional review, alongside your diet, supplements, lifestyle, symptoms and goals.

HTMA Retest & Progress Comparison
Choose this if you have already completed your first HTMA and want to see what has changed.
Your retest includes:
- a fresh hair mineral analysis;
- comparison with your previous HTMA;
- review of important changes;
- updated personalised nutrition plan;
- clear next steps and follow-up guidance.
The difference is simple
First HTMA = establish your starting point.
HTMA Retest = compare progress and update your plan.
If this is your first HTMA
Your first HTMA gives us a baseline.
We review the laboratory findings alongside the information you provide about your diet, supplements, lifestyle and nutritional priorities.
You then receive a detailed personalised nutrition plan designed around the overall picture rather than simply a list of mineral numbers.
If you have already completed an HTMA
You do not need to buy the first test again.
Your retest uses your previous HTMA as a baseline. We compare the new findings with the earlier result, review what has happened since your first test and create an updated personalised nutrition plan.
As a practical guide, we suggest considering the first retest at around 3 months. After that, where continued monitoring remains useful, approximately annual review may be appropriate.
What HTMA does not replace
HTMA measures minerals found in a hair sample. Hair mineral findings are not the same as current blood mineral levels.
HTMA should not be used to diagnose an acute electrolyte problem, medical condition or disease.
Where blood testing, medical assessment or another investigation is appropriate, that should take priority.

Important
HTMA is used here as part of a nutritional review. It does not diagnose disease and does not replace appropriate medical assessment, blood testing, diagnosis or treatment.
